Automated Forwarder & Broker
Systems In order to provide not only high quality transactional
processing, but economical services we have invested continuously in
new technology. Among these are our systems for processing all aspects
of the international transaction, including links to U.S. Customs, the
Dept. of Census and the Bureau of Export Administration. Whether clearing
your import shipment for release or filing for a complicated export
license, all processes are automated and accurate.
Automated Broker Interface (ABI)
and Remote Location Filing (RLF) GSB processes import entries
in an automated environment via an active ABI program. ABI ensures the
fastest turnaround time from entry submission to obtaining release from
U.S. Customs. Also, Customs has approved GSB as an active RLF participant,
RLF provides for automated transmission of Customs entries from our
office regardless of the port of entry. Such a program provides dedicated
staff handling all of your shipments and produces efficiencies within
the communication and information channels. Documentation and record
keeping are also centralized, ensuring compliance within the parameters
of the Customs Modernization Act.
Automated Export System (AES)
GSB is certified to file Shippers Export Declarations electronically
via AES with the U.S. Department of Census. AES represents the new wave
in Customs export automation. All required statistical fields are transmitted
via this electronic medium.
EDI and Connectivity
to our Customers Used not only domestically but also internationally,
EDI permits the rapid exchange of time sensitive data on a cost effective
basis. Additionally, GSB can link customers to our systems for direct
exchange of necessary tracking, tracing and financial analysis information
using either our software, your own linkages, or public EDI standard
message sets.
Order Management Systems
Our philosophy is that a successful transaction begins with the planning
and management of the purchase/sales order, from the time of its inception.
This means that when an order is generated, a sophisticated tool kit
is necessary to ensure that all the elements of the deal come together
correctly and on-time. GSB has such a tool, created with the benefit
